In mid August of 2024, we would like to welcome to the historic Victorian neighborhood of Old Louisville in Louisville, Kentucky. Our premiere walking tour will take you through the beautifully preserved streets and grand homes of this area, while also delving into the rich history of bourbon and the Kentucky Derby.

As you stroll through the tree-lined streets of Old Louisville, you will be transported back in time to the late 19th century when this neighborhood was first developed. The stunning Victorian architecture of the homes, with their intricate detailing and ornate facades, will leave you in awe of the craftsmanship of the era.

Along the way, your guide will tell you stories of the neighborhood's past, from its beginnings as a wealthy enclave to its decline and subsequent revitalization in the 20th century. You will learn about the prominent families who once called Old Louisville home and the social events that took place in its grand mansions.

Of course, no visit to Louisville would be complete without a mention of bourbon, the state's signature spirit. Your guide may share a bit about the history of bourbon production in Kentucky and its importance to the local economy.

And finally, no visit to Louisville would be complete without a nod to the Kentucky Derby, the most famous horse race in the world. Your guide will share the history of the Derby and its significance to the city, as well as point out some of the landmarks associated with the event.
